I would agree with whatever Barkha Dutt has said to the allegations put on the Media Coverage of 26/11. But 1 thing I would like to put forth. True enough that news networks like NTDV and other of its kind would be cautious enough to air non sensitive news in-spite of not being given any briefing by the High-Officials but what about those N number of not-so-famous commercial news network who sensationalize any damn piece of news they get? Are they matured enough to get a green card to be tele- casted. Aren't they the ones who entertain maximum non sense stuff being aired in their channels through out. India being a culturally socially and economically a true diverse country does gives them wide acceptance and so their existence is hardly ever questioned. But how far is it justified to allow such channels to cover such sensitive news piece which can shaken the security of the country? They as we all know search for some kind of spice in every story. Not restricting the flow of news in a live operation is how far justified? I essentially question their very actuality.

coverage of live operations is madness. its just about hooking people with the right bait. how many people would have switched away from other channels to watch troops in action ? maximum ! similarly cock n bull stories being passed off as 1 hr specials have a huge no. of watchers...i dont understand why people watch them ?
